The Wisconsin Badgers won their home game against the Minnesota Golden Gophers on Sunday, ending 4-1.

The Badgers took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Nicole LaMantia. Britta Curl and Jesse Compher assisted.

The Gophers tied the game 1-1 late into the first when Taylor Heise scored, assisted by Catie Skaja and Grace Zumwinkle.

Sarah Wozniewicz scored late into the second period, assisted by Casey O'Brien and Natalie Buchbinder.

The Badgers increased the lead to 3-1 early in the third period when Kirsten Simms beat the goalie, assisted by Laila Edwards and Lacey Eden.

Jesse Compher increased the lead to 4-1 six minutes later, assisted by Lacey Eden and Caroline Harvey.
