The host Vermont Catamounts claimed three points against the hosting Merrimack on Thursday. The final score was 5-1.

The visiting Catamounts took the lead early into the first period, with a goal from Theresa Schafzahl. Ellice Murphy and Corinne McCool assisted.

Corinne McCool scored early in the second period, assisted by Natalie Mlynkova and Sini Karjalainen.

Evelyne Blais-Savoie then tallied a goal midway through, making the score 3-0. Lara Beecher assisted.

Sam Lessick narrowed the gap to 3-1 in the middle of the third period, assisted by Alexa Pongo and Raice Szott.

Ellice Murphy increased the lead to 4-1 six minutes later, assisted by Hailey Burns.

The Catamounts increased the lead to 5-1 with four seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Theresa Schafzahl, assisted by Evelyne Blais-Savoie and Sini Karjalainen.
