The Penn State Nittany Lions bested the visiting Brown Bears 4-2 on Monday.

The Nittany Lions took the lead halfway through the first period, with a goal from Julie Gough. Kiara Zanon and Tessa Janecke assisted.

The Nittany Lions increased the lead to 2-0 with a minute left into the first when Olivia Wallin scored, assisted by Courtney Correia and Eleri MacKay.

The Bears narrowed the gap to 2-1 within the first minute of the third period when Jade Iginla found the back of the net, assisted by Anna Gallagher and Ellie Gauvin.

India McDadi tied the game 2-2 late in the third, assisted by Jade Iginla and Cassidy Piersiak.

The Nittany Lions took the lead with 01.09 remaining of the third after a goal from Julie Gough, assisted by Kendall Butze and Kiara Zanon.
