Wayzata win 3-2 on the road against Alexandria

The Wayzata broke a tie game, winning 3-2 on the road over the Alexandria on Saturday.

Wayzata's Davy Mokelke scored the game-winning goal.

The Alexandria players started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Julia Doherty scoring in the first minute, a goal assisted by Lillian Dutton and Jersey Severson.

The Wayzata players tied the score 1-1 early into the second period when Sam Mathe netted one.

The Wayzata players made it 2-1 late when Lauren Hansen beat the goalie, assisted by Shyla Sanders.

The Alexandria players tied the score 2-2 within the first minute when Morgan Aure found the back of the net, assisted by Kennedy Ellingson.

Davy Mokelke took the lead late in the third period, assisted by Courtney Jacobs.
