The Dutchmen increased the lead to 2-0 in the middle of the first when Tyler Watkins scored again, assisted by Carter Korpi and John Prokop.
The Dutchmen increased the lead to 3-0 early into the second period when Caden Villegas beat the goalie, assisted by Nate Hanley and Nick Young.
Midway through, Chaz Smedsrud scored a goal, assisted by John Prokop and Tyler Watkins, making the score 4-0.

The Dutchmen increased the lead to 5-0 early into the third period when Nate Hanley found the back of the net.
The Falcons narrowed the gap to 5-1 with 01.15 of play remaining in the third after a goal from Cooper Connell, assisted by Nick Bochen and Danny Pearson.
