Vermont decide the game with three goals in third period

In the first two periods of the game, the home-team Maine held out fine against the Vermont. Vermont fought back in the third period and won the game 7-2.

In the first two periods of the game, the home-team Maine held out fine against the Vermont. Vermont fought back in the third period and won the game 7-2.

The Catamounts scored three goals in first period an held the lead 3-2 going in to the first break.

The second period ended with a 4-2 lead for the Catamounts.

Corinne McCool increased the lead to 5-2 in the middle of the third period, assisted by Maddy Skelton.

Natalie Mlynkova increased the lead to 6-2 six minutes later.

The Catamounts increased the lead to 7-2 with 11 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Lara Beecher.
