Three points for Pioneers after third-period-win

Denver defeated visiting Minnesota-Duluth 2-1. The game was all square after two periods but in the third Denver managed to pull out a win.

The Bulldogs opened strong, taking the lead when Darian Gotz scored the first goal after 14:40, but the Pioneers' Cole Guttman tied it up just three minutes later.

In the third, Carter Savoie scored 13 minutes into the third period, assisted by Sean Behrens and Cole Guttman, and got the win. With that, Denver turned the game around. That left the final score 2-1.

Both teams were called for eight penalty minutes.
