Arizona State secures home win with goals in second period
Arizona State garnered a 2-1 win at home against Long Island.
The Sun Devils took the lead at 16:23 of the first period, with a goal scored by Colin Theisen. Matthew Kopperud and Josh Doan assisted on the play.
The Sharks tied the score at 1-1 when PJ Marrocco scored in the beginning of the second period in the second period.
The Sun Devils scored again, making it 2-1 with a goal from Josh Doan after 7:51 in the period.
In the third period, the Sun Devils held on to its 2-1 lead and won.

The Sun Devils were called for 16 penalty minutes, while the Sharks spent 10 minutes in the penalty box.
