Strong defense as Proctor/Hermantown beat Roseville/Mahtomedi

Six goals scored – and a shutout. The Proctor/Hermantown secured the home victory against the Roseville/Mahtomedi. The game ended 6-0.

The hosting team took the lead in the first period, with a goal from Jane Eckstrom. Mya Gunderson and Morgan Lavalley assisted.

The Proctor/Hermantown's players Ava Anick increased the lead to 2-0 late in the first period, assisted by Anika Burke and Mya Gunderson.

Izy Fairchild scored in the second period, assisted by Hannah Graves and Anika Burke.

Midway through the second period, the Proctor/Hermantown players made it 4-0 with a goal from Reese Heitzman.

Natalya Hooey increased the lead to 5-0 halfway through the third period, assisted by Kalea Homich and Katie Sandelin.

The Proctor/Hermantown players made it 6-0 when Jane Eckstrom beat the goalie, assisted by Hannah Graves and Sophie Parendo late into the third. The 6-0 goal held up as the game winner.

The Proctor/Hermantown players are set to face Warroad at 7 p.m. CST at St. Luke's Sports & Event Center, while the Roseville/Mahtomedi players face Duluth at 7 p.m. CST at Heritage Center Arena. Both games are scheduled for Saturday.
