Strong defense as Dartmouth Big Green beats Yale

Six goals scored – and a shutout. Dartmouth Big Green secured the home victory against Yale. The game ended 6-0.

Six goals scored – and a shutout. Dartmouth Big Green secured the home victory against Yale. The game ended 6-0.

The first period was scoreless, and early in the second period, the Big Green took the lead when Luke Haymes opened the scoring assisted by Tyler Campbell and Tanner Palocsik.

Ian Pierce then tallied a goal in the second period, making the score 2-0. Matt Hubbarde and Nick Unruh assisted.

Midway through, the Big Green made it 3-0 with a goal from Braiden Dorfman.

The Big Green increased the lead to 4-0 early into the third period when Joey Musa scored, assisted by Matt Hubbarde and Nick Unruh.

Trym Lokkeberg increased the lead to 5-0 in the middle of the third, assisted by Steven Townley and Tanner Palocsik.

In the end the 6-0 goal came from Luke Haymes who increased the Big Green's lead, assisted by Ian Pierce and Cooper Flinton, with a minute left into the third. That left the final score at 6-0.
