Strong defense as Connecticut beat Merrimack

Three goals scored – and a shutout. The Connecticut secured the road victory against the Merrimack. The game ended 3-0.

The Connecticut Huskies players started off strong and took the lead right after the beginning of the game with Megan Woodworth scoring in the first minute, a goal assisted by Jada Habisch.

The Connecticut Huskies players increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Claire Peterson late into the first period, assisted by Kate Thurman and Coryn Tormala.

The Connecticut Huskies players made it 3-0 when Carlie Magier netted one, assisted by Claire Peterson and Ava Rinker with a minute left in the second period.
