The first period was scoreless, and early into the second period, the Wisconsin Badgers players took the lead when Nicole LaMantia scored the first goal assisted by Chayla Edwards.
Lacey Eden then tallied a goal midway through, making the score 2-0. Casey O'Brien and Nicole LaMantia assisted.
Halfway through, Caroline Harvey scored a goal, assisted by Vivian Jungels and Britta Curl, making the score 3-0.
The Wisconsin Badgers players increased the lead to 4-0 early in the third period when Nicole LaMantia scored yet again, assisted by Kirsten Simms.

The Wisconsin Badgers players made it 5-0 when Jesse Compher beat the goalie, assisted by Claire Enright and Sophie Shirley late into the third. That left the final score at 5-0.
