The Wisconsin Badgers players took the lead in the first period, with a goal scored by Laila Edwards. Casey O'Brien and Caroline Harvey assisted.
The Wisconsin Badgers players increased the lead to 2-0 early in the first period when Sarah Wozniewicz scored, assisted by Natalie Buchbinder and Nicole LaMantia.
