The Johnnies took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Nick Michel. Lewis Crosby assisted.

The Saints' Filimon Ledenkov tied the game 1-1 with a minute left into the first, assisted by Arkhip Ledenkov and Danylo Sukhonos.

The second period ended with a 4-2 lead for the Saints.

The Saints increased the lead to 5-2 with 01.15 remaining of the third period after a goal from Filimon Ledenkov, assisted by Alec Severson.
