The Wildcats increased the lead to 2-0 in the middle of the first period when Laura Denchfield scored.
The Cobbers' Jerica Friese narrowed the gap to 2-1 late in the first, assisted by Paige Hanson.
The Cobbers tied the game 2-2 with another goal from Jerica Friese late into the first, assisted by McKenzie Oelkers and Abbey Hardwick.
The second period ended with a 3-2 lead for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats increased the lead to 4-2 within the first minute of the third period when Marie Reimer beat the goalie, assisted by Laura Denchfield and Madi Fleming. That left the final score at 4-2.
