After seven games, the St. Anselm finally managed to get a tick in the win column. Their first victory of the season came at home against the Sacred Heart, in a game that Saint Anselm won 7-0.

The hosting team took the lead in the middle of the first period, a goal by Natalie Tulchinsky.
The Saint Anselm Hawks players increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Kelly Golini with a minute left into the first, assisted by Tyra Turner.
The second period ended with a 5-0 lead for the Saint Anselm Hawks players.
The Saint Anselm Hawks players increased the lead to 6-0 within the first minute of the third period when Audrey Jackson found the back of the net.

In the end the 7-0 came from Devin Porazinski who increased the Saint Anselm Hawks' players lead, assisted by Natalie Tulchinsky, with a minute left in the third. The 7-0 goal held up as the game winner.
Ahead of Saturday's home game, the Saint Anselm Hawks players had suffered six consecutive defeats.
