Lincoln comes back from two goals down to defeat Fargo Force in overtime

The Stars scored three third-period goals to rally from a 5-3 deficit and then won in OT on Thursday.

LINCOLN, Neb. — Lincoln rebounded from a two-goal deficit in the third period defeat Fargo 7-6 in overtime on Thursday at The Ice Box.
The Force led 5-3 after two periods but Lincoln's Doug Grimes and Keaton Peters scored goals in the first nine minutes of the third to tie it.
Tyler Rollwagen put the Force back in front with a goal at 9:29 of the third, but Lincoln's Antonio Fernandez scored with just 1:11 left in the game to force overtime. The Stars' Mason Marcellus scored the game-winner just 34 seconds into OT.
Rollwagen, Andre Gasseau, Bret Link, Kyle Smolen, Cole Knuble and J.P. Turner scored the Force's goals and Gasseau also had two assists.
The Force play next at Omaha at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25.
