Big second period leads Grand Forks Central to 4-0 victory over West Fargo on Friday

WEST FARGO — Grand Forks Central shut out West Fargo 4-0 in North Dakota boys ice hockey action Friday night.

After a scoreless first period, the Knights got goals from Chase Spicer, Braden Panzer and Dillon Kuntz to lead 3-0 after two periods of action. Wyatt Wockenfuss scored for the Knights in the third period to provide the final margin.

Central out-shot West Fargo 36 to 14.

GFC climbed to 10-1 overall and 9-1 in the East. West Fargo fell to 3-9 overall and 3-8 in the East.
