The Wildcats started off strong and took the lead right after the puck drop with Lauren Henriksen scoring after only 54 seconds, a goal assisted by Laura Denchfield.
The Wildcats increased the lead to 2-0 in the middle of the first period when Lauren Henriksen scored again, assisted by Kaitlyn Blair and Laura Denchfield.
The Wildcats scored three goals in second period an held the lead 5-0 going in to the second break.
The Wildcats increased the lead to 6-0 early into the third period when Marie Reimer beat the goalie again, assisted by Madi Fleming. The 6-0 goal held up as the game winner.
