Solid victory for Park of Cottage Grove – shut out Bloomington Jefferson

The Park of Cottage Grove won their home game against the Bloomington Jefferson. The team put in a strong effort and got a shutout. The game ended 7-0.

The hosting Park of Cottage Grove players took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Maggie Jensen. Molly Villas and Sam Miller assisted.

The Park of Cottage Grove players increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Natalie Post in the first period.

Three goals were scored in the second period, and the Park of Cottage Grove players led 5-0 going in to the third period.

The Park of Cottage Grove players increased the lead to 6-0, after only zero seconds into the third period when Lauren Osland found the back of the net yet again, assisted by Josie Leonard.

The Park of Cottage Grove players increased the lead to 7-0 within the first minute when Alyssa Hill scored, assisted by Cassidy Moen. That left the final score at 7-0.
