Solid victory for Osseo/Park Center – shut out Hopkins/Park

The Osseo/Park Center won their road game against the Hopkins/Park. The team put in a strong effort and got a shutout. The game ended 6-0.

The Osseo/Park Center won their road game against the Hopkins/Park. The team put in a strong effort and got a shutout. The game ended 6-0.

The visiting Osseo/Park Center players started off strong and took the lead right after the beginning of the game with Tessa Strand scoring in the first minute, a goal assisted by Lauren Rainerson.

The Osseo/Park Center players increased the lead to 2-0 in the first period when Gabby Edlund scored the first goal, assisted by Lauren Rainerson and Maddie Smuk.

The Osseo/Park Center's players Reanna Cruz increased the lead to 3-0 halfway through the first period, assisted by Macy Patton.

The Osseo/Park Center players increased the lead to 4-0 late into the first when Tessa Strand scored again, assisted by Maya Anderson.

The Osseo/Park Center players scored one goal in second period an held the lead 5-0 going in to the second break.

In the end the 6-0 came from Maya Anderson who increased the Osseo/Park Center's players lead, assisted by Tessa Strand, halfway through the third period. That left the final score at 6-0.

The Hopkins/Park players are set to face Waconia at 7 p.m. CST at Waconia Ice Arena, while the Osseo/Park Center players face Dodge County at 7 p.m. CST at Dick Vraa Arena. Both games take place Tuesday.
