Solid victory for North Shore – shut out International Falls

The North Shore won their home game against the International Falls. The team put in a strong effort and got a shutout. The game ended 9-0.

The North Shore won their home game against the International Falls. The team put in a strong effort and got a shutout. The game ended 9-0.

The North Shore players took the lead in the first period, with a goal from Katie Carpenter. Brooke Velcheff and Lily Benvie assisted.

The North Shore players increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Marlee Hogenson in the first period, assisted by Addison Bentler.

The North Shore players scored four goals in second period an held the lead 6-0 going in to the second break.

The North Shore players increased the lead to 7-0 within the first minute of the third period when Reese Costley found the back of the net, assisted by Bree Torgerson and Berkley Hoff.

The North Shore players increased the lead to 8-0 early in the third when Lily Benvie beat the goalie again, assisted by Katie Carpenter.

In the end the 9-0 goal came from Berkley Hoff who increased the North Shore's players lead, assisted by Kinsey Komarek and Hope Ernest, late into the third. The 9-0 goal held up as the game winner.
