Shakopee dig deep in the third to win against Eastview

The Shakopee and the visiting Eastview were tied going into the third, but Shakopee pulled away for a 3-1 victory in game action.

The Eastview players took the lead in the middle of the first period, with a goal from Ella Schaefer. Laney Schwartz and Lauren Speegle assisted.

The Shakopee's players Lily Canny tied the game 1-1 late in the first, assisted by Allison Parker.

Hannah Grabianowski took the lead early into the third period, assisted by Emma Heyer.

Annika Willmert increased the lead to 3-1 late into the third.

The Shakopee players are set to face Holy Family at 7 p.m. CST at Victoria Ice Arena, while the Eastview players face Elk River/Zimmerman at 7 p.m. CST at Furniture and Things Community Event Center. Both games take place Thursday.
