A close game saw the Saint Benedict Blazers just edge out the Concordia Cobbers on Friday. The final score was 3-2.

The Cobbers took the lead in the first period, with a goal from Morgan Sauvageau. Jerica Friese and Paige Hanson assisted.

Corrine Brown scored in the second period, assisted by Abby Nelson and Aurora Opsahl.

Ava Stinnett then tallied a goal late in the second period, making the score 2-1. Corrine Brown and Aurora Opsahl assisted.

Emma Rooks increased the lead to 3-1 in the third period, assisted by Aurora Opsahl and Ava Stinnett.

Jerica Friese narrowed the gap to 3-2 two minutes later, assisted by Morgan Sauvageau and Kaylie Klemetsrud.
