The first period was scoreless, and early in the second period, the Rensselaer Engineers players took the lead when Marah Wagner opened the scoring assisted by Nina Christof and Ellie Kaiser.

Late, Maddy Papineau scored a goal, assisted by Taylor Larsen and Sophia Jones, making the score 2-0.

The Rensselaer Engineers players ended a run of six consecutive defeats.
