The Pine City Area players took the lead early in the first period, with a goal from Arissa Rydberg. Rhiannon Ashworth assisted.
The Prairie Centre players tied the game 1-1 in the first period when Kyra Swanson scored, assisted by Brynlee Ostendorf.
Lexa Valvoda scored in the middle of the second period, assisted by Jennae Szucs.
Abby Aagaard then tallied a goal late, making the score 3-1. Arissa Rydberg and Rhiannon Ashworth assisted.
The Pine City Area players increased the lead to 4-1, after only 57 seconds into the third period when Rhiannon Ashworth scored.
Abby Aagaard increased the lead to 5-1 seven minutes later, assisted by Brenna Youngbauer.
Natasha Ludwig narrowed the gap to 5-2 just one minute later, assisted by Katelyn Jones and Naomi Dalton.
Arissa Rydberg increased the lead to 6-2 two minutes later, assisted by Abby Aagaard and Rhiannon Ashworth.
