Park of Cottage Grove pull ahead in the third to defeat White Bear Lake

The Park of Cottage Grove were victorious at home against the White Bear Lake. After two periods, the teams were tied at 1, but Park of Cottage Grove pulled away in the third, winning the game 3-2.

The Park of Cottage Grove were victorious at home against the White Bear Lake. After two periods, the teams were tied at 1, but Park of Cottage Grove pulled away in the third, winning the game 3-2.

Park of Cottage Grove's Natalie Post scored the game-winning goal.

The Park of Cottage Grove players took the lead early into the first period, with a goal from Cassidy Moen. Alyssa Hill and Morgan Kelsey assisted.

The White Bear Lake players tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Hailey Dawe in the middle of the first, assisted by Zoe Timmons.

Molly Villas took the lead in the middle of the third period, assisted by Taylar Nadler and Maggie Jensen.

Ava Johnson tied the game 2-2 just one minute later, assisted by Talia Domschot and Olivia Simpkins.

Just just one minute later Natalie Post scored, assisted by Josie Leonard, and decided the game.
