Omaha Mavericks won on the road on Friday, handing Lake Superior State Lakers a defeat 3-1.
The first period was scoreless, and early into the second period, the Mavericks took the lead when Ty Mueller opened the scoring assisted by Cameron Berg and Jack Randl.
The Lakers tied the score 1-1 right at the start into the third period, after only 26 seconds when Louis Boudon beat the goalie, assisted by Jake Willets and Jacob Bengtsson.
Tyler Weiss took the lead five minutes later, assisted by Jacob Guevin.
The Mavericks increased the lead to 3-1 with 01.38 of play remaining in the third period after a goal from Jack Randl, assisted by Ty Mueller and Cameron Berg.
