The game-winning goal was scored by UNO's Tyler Weiss.
The first period was scoreless, and midway through the second period, the Nanooks took the lead when Jonny Sorenson opened the scoring assisted by Payton Matsui and Arvils Bergmanis.
Late, the Mavericks made it 1-1 with a goal from Jack Randl.
With a minute left, the Nanooks' T.J. Lloyd scored a goal, assisted by Chase Dubois and Garrett Pyke, making the score 2-1.

The Mavericks tied the score 2-2 early into the third period when Jack Randl netted one yet again, assisted by Matt Miller and Kirby Proctor.
In overtime, it took 4:38 before Tyler Weiss scored the game-winner for the home team, assisted by Brock Bremer and Jonny Tychonick.
