The hosting team took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Alina Mueller. Alina Mueller and Katy Knoll assisted.

Maureen Murphy scored early into the second period, assisted by Chloe Aurard and Lily Yovetich.

Six minutes into the period, Maureen Murphy scored a goal, assisted by Alina Mueller and Maude Poulin-Labelle, making the score 3-0.

Midway through, the Huskies made it 4-0 with a goal from Mia Langlois.

The Wildcats narrowed the gap to 4-1 early into the third period when Kira Juodikis scored, assisted by Nicky Harnett.

Skylar Irving increased the lead to 7-2 five minutes later, assisted by Maude Poulin-Labelle and Abbey Marohn.

The Huskies increased the lead to 8-2 with 01.43 remaining of the third after a goal from Maureen Murphy, assisted by Chloe Aurard and Maude Poulin-Labelle.
