The Huskies took the lead halfway through the first period, with a goal from Jeremie Bucheler. Hunter McDonald and Riley Hughes assisted.
The Huskies' Justin Hryckowian increased the lead to 2-0 late in the first, assisted by Aidan McDonough and Braden Doyle.
Three goals were scored in the second period, and the Huskies led 4-1 going in to the third period.
The Huskies increased the lead to 5-1 within the first minute of the third period when Aidan McDonough found the back of the net, assisted by Gunnarwolfe Fontaine and Sam Colangelo.
Justin Hryckowian increased the lead to 6-1 eight minutes later, assisted by Braden Doyle and Sam Colangelo.
Chase Stevenson narrowed the gap to 6-2 just one minute later, assisted by Kristaps Skrastins and Cy LeClerc.
