The Northeastern Huskies players dominated the first period, with three quick goals from Maude Poulin-Labelle, Alina Mueller and Holly Abela.
The Northeastern Huskies players were also sharp in the second period, taking a 6-0 lead near the end of the period after three quick goals from Chloe Aurard, Maureen Murphy and Alina Mueller.
In just 8:12 the Northeastern Huskies players scored four straight goals as the team went from 6-0 to 10-0.
Bri Eid narrowed the gap somewhat, but the Long Island University Sharks players didn't come any closer than 10-1. The Northeastern Huskies took a solid victory.
