The Morris/Benson Area won on the road on Thursday, handing the Prairie Centre a defeat 6-2.

The visiting Morris/Benson Area players opened strong, with Kortney Sanasack scoring early into the first period, a goal assisted by Molly Jones and Allison Michaelson.

The Morris/Benson Area's players Karlie Bruns increased the lead to 2-0 halfway through the first, assisted by Charli Erdahl.

The second period ended with a 4-1 lead for the Morris/Benson Area players.

The Morris/Benson Area players increased the lead to 5-1, after only 45 seconds into the third period when Kortney Sanasack scored yet again, assisted by Hadley Koehler and Sofia Schwiderski.

Natasha Ludwig narrowed the gap to 5-2 nine minutes later.

Kortney Sanasack increased the lead to 6-2 just one minute later, assisted by Allison Michaelson and Karlie Bruns.
