SCSU men announce home game times, TV schedule, add exhibition game, Geno Parrish will be color analyst

Huskies will play against the University of Manitoba on Dec. 30. Former St. Cloud State captain and defenseman will join Jim Rich for broadcasts.

ST. CLOUD, Minn. — The St. Cloud State men’s hockey team has finalized game times and TV broadcast information for its 2022-23 schedule and the Huskies have added a Dec. 30 exhibition against the University of Manitoba.

All St. Cloud State regular season home games will be televised on Fox 9 + in the Twin Cities and central Minnesota. Fox 9 sports director Jim Rich will provide play-by-play with former Huskies captain Geno Parrish on color commentary for the broadcasts. In addition to home coverage on Fox 9 +, all National Collegiate Hockey Conference games, home and away, will be streamed online at NCHC.tv .

All Friday home games will start at 7:30 p.m., while Saturday games will begin at 6 p.m. with the exception of the home opener against St. Thomas on Oct. 2, which is scheduled to start at 4 p.m. St. Cloud State is also adding an exhibition to its 2022-23 schedule, as the Huskies will play host to the University Manitoba at 1 p.m. Dec. 30. That game will start at 1 p.m. and will be streamed on NCHC.tv .

Husky Productions will once again provide all the production and television elements for the home game broadcasts.

“It’s an honor to once again be airing our student productions on Fox 9 +,” Brian Stanley, executive producer for Husky Productions, said in a news release. “The exposure these broadcasts provide for the team, university and students is second to none and we don’t take that responsibility lightly."
