One of the top prospects for next summer's NHL Draft will play against UND on Saturday afternoon.
Logan Cooley, who is expected to be a top-10 pick, will suit up for the U.S. Under-18 Team for the 2:37 p.m. exhibition game in Ralph Engelstad Arena.
Cooley was expected to miss the game because he was with the U.S. World Junior Championship team, but after the event was canceled this week, he traveled from Red Deer, Alberta, to Grand Forks to re-join his team.
The 17-year-old Cooley was the youngest player to make the U.S. World Junior team this season and centered one of USA's top two lines.
The 5-foot-11, 174-pound forward from Pittsburgh is an explosive skater who has tallied 30 points in 20 games this season, leading the U.S. Under-18 Team in points per game.

Cooley also is the most coveted uncommitted recruit in the country. He was originally committed to Notre Dame, but did not sign a National Letter of Intent last month and re-opened his recruitment.
The U.S. Under-18 Team also will have goalie Dylan Silverstein back from the World Junior Championship. Silverstein, a Boston College commit, served as USA's third goaltender.
The U18s are expected to be without two players — injured forwards Cruz Lucius and Charlie Stramel.
Stramel, a Wisconsin commit, has yet to play this season.
