Napravnik's OT goal carries No. 1 Minnesota State past Michigan Tech

HOUGHTON, Mich. — The third time was the charm for Julian Napravnik as the Minnesota State senior scored on his third shot in overtime as the No. 1 Mavericks won their 10th game in a row, beating Michigan Tech 2-1 in CCHA play Friday night.

Napravnik's goal at 1:18 was his 17th of the season. Napravnik and teammate Nathan Smith finished with a goal and an assist.

Tommy Parrottino put Michigan Tech ahead with a goal at 8:27 of the first period before Smith responded near the end of the second period.
