MEN’S HOCKEY: Life of former Bemidji State coach Bob Peters to be celebrated July 16

A funeral will be held for the legendary fixture in Beaver athletics at 10 a.m. at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Bemidji, followed by an open house from 1-4 p.m. at the Beaux Arts Ballroom on the campus of Bemidji State. All are welcome at both events.

BEMIDJI – Former Bemidji State men’s hockey head coach and administrator Bob Peters will be celebrated throughout the day on Saturday, July 16.

A funeral will be held for the legendary fixture in Beaver athletics at 10 a.m. at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Bemidji, followed by an open house from 1-4 p.m. at the Beaux Arts Ballroom on the campus of Bemidji State. All are welcome at both events.

Peters coached the Beavers to 13 national championships during his 34-year tenure at BSU and won 744 games between Bemidji State and North Dakota. Peters died on Dec. 15, 2021 at the age of 84.
