UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. -- Minnesota and Penn State hook up for its second series of the season, this time at Pegula Ice Arena in this Big Ten Conference matchup.

The Gophers, winners of five of their last six games, enter the series two points back of Michigan.

The Gophers and Nittany Lions split a series earlier this season in Minneapolis.

Minnesota is 14-6-0 in the Big Ten and 19-11-0 overall.

Penn State 5-14-1 in conference play and 14-15-1 overall.
