The hosting Terriers took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Lane Hutson . Ethan Phillips and Jay O'Brien assisted.

The second period ended with a 4-1 lead for the Terriers.

Ethan Phillips increased the lead to 5-1 late into the third period.
