Boston University won on the road on Friday, handing Massachusetts a defeat 7-2.

The Terriers took the lead early into the first period, with a goal from Ryan Greene.

Five goals were scored in the second period, and the Terriers led 5-1 going in to the third period.

The Minutemen narrowed the gap again early in the third period when Reed Lebster beat the goalie, assisted by Scott Morrow and Ryan Ufko.

Matt Brown increased the lead to 6-2 late in the third, assisted by Sam Stevens.

The Terriers increased the lead to 7-2 with 36 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Devin Kaplan, assisted by Ryan Greene and Lane Hutson.
