The Big Red started off strong and took the lead right after the beginning of the game with Jack O'Leary scoring in the first period, a goal assisted by Kyle Penney and Sam Malinski.
The Bears tied the game 1-1 in the first period when Matt Sutton scored.
The Big Red took the lead with a goal from Matt Stienburg late into the first period, assisted by Gabriel Seger and Max Andreev.
The second period ended with a 4-1 lead for the Big Red.
Kyle Penney increased the lead to 5-1 in the middle of the third period, assisted by Dalton Bancroft and Sean Donaldson.
