Ferris State defeated Bowling Green 4-1 on Saturday.

The hosting team took the lead late in the first period, with a goal from Nick Nardecchia. Stepan Pokorny assisted.

The Bulldogs increased the lead to 2-0 early into the second period when Caiden Gault scored, assisted by Drew Cooper and Zach Faremouth.

Blake Evennou increased the lead to 3-0 in the third period.

Nathan Burke narrowed the gap to 3-1 nine minutes later, assisted by Chase Gresock and Austen Swankler.

The Bulldogs increased the lead to 4-1 with 44 seconds remaining of the third period after a goal from Antonio Venuto, assisted by Nick Nardecchia and Drew Cooper.
