Bowling Green in strong shape as it beat St. Thomas

Bowling Green's difficulties appear to have come to an end. When the team played St. Thomas at home on Saturday, it secured yet another victory. The final result was 3-2, meaning that BGSU now has three victories in a row, after having a tough time recently.

BGSU's Austen Swankler scored the game-winning goal.

The Tommies took the lead early into the first period, with a goal from Cooper Gay. Andrew Kangas and Quinton Pepper assisted.

The Falcons tied the game 1-1 with a goal from Nathan Burke in the middle of the first, assisted by Zach Vinnell and Alex Barber.

The Tommies took the lead early in the second period when Braidan Simmons-Fischer scored, assisted by Jake Braccini and Lucas Wahlin.

Ethan Scardina tied the game 2-2 late in the third period, assisted by Max Coyle.

The Falcons took the lead with 17 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Austen Swankler, assisted by Hunter Lellig and Ryan O'Hara.
