Penn State wins against Michigan State – despite deficit

Ahead of the final period, Michigan State led 3-2. However, Penn State changed things in its favor and won. The game ended 4-3.

Ahead of the final period, Michigan State led 3-2. However, Penn State changed things in its favor and won. The game ended 4-3.

PSU's Tyler Gratton scored the game-winning goal.

The Nittany Lions took the lead halfway through the first period, with a goal from Jr. Jimmy Dowd. Ben Schoen assisted.

The Spartans tied the game 1-1 in the middle of the first when Matt Basgall scored, assisted by Miroslav Mucha and Nicolas Muller.

The Spartans took the lead with a goal from Jagger Joshua late into the first, assisted by Nicolas Muller and Karsen Dorwart.

The Spartans scored one goals in second period an held the lead 3-2 going in to the second break.

Christian Berger tied the game 3-3 late in the third period.

The Nittany Lions took the lead with 56 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Tyler Gratton, assisted by Tyler Paquette and Xander Lamppa.
