Michigan State victorious against Ohio State

Michigan State defeated visiting Ohio State 4-2. The game was all square after two periods but in the third MSU managed to pull out a win.

Michigan State defeated visiting Ohio State 4-2. The game was all square after two periods but in the third MSU managed to pull out a win.

The Buckeyes took the lead late into the first period, with a goal from Tyler Duke. Scooter Brickey and Tate Singleton assisted.

The Spartans tied the game 1-1 late in the first when Matt Basgall scored, assisted by Daniel Russell and Nicolas Muller.

The Spartans made it 2-1 early into the second period when Karsen Dorwart scored, assisted by Jagger Joshua and Daniel Russell.

Late, the Buckeyes' Jake Wise scored a goal, assisted by Mason Lohrei, making the score 2-2.

Daniel Russell took the lead late in the third period, assisted by Jagger Joshua and Karsen Dorwart.

The Spartans increased the lead to 4-2 with 56 seconds remaining of the third after a goal from Justin Jallen, assisted by Tiernan Shoudy and Zach Dubinsky.

The win over the Buckeyes means that the Spartans has five home wins in a row.
