A win at last for Wisconsin

Wisconsin has ended its unfortunate run of four straight defeats. The much longed-for break came at home against Long Island. The game finished 3-2.

Wisconsin has ended its unfortunate run of four straight defeats. The much longed-for break came at home against Long Island. The game finished 3-2.

Wisconsin's Cruz Lucius scored the game-winning goal.

The Badgers opened strong, with Zach Urdahl scoring early into the first period, a goal assisted by Ben Dexheimer and Cruz Lucius.

The Badgers increased the lead to 2-0 with a goal from Mathieu De St. Phalle late in the first, assisted by Liam Malmquist and Ben Dexheimer.

Anthony Vincent scored early into the second period, assisted by Spencer Cox and Adam Goodsir.

Anthony Vincent then tallied a goal as he scored yet again, late, making the score 2-2. Adam Goodsir and Zachary Nazzarett assisted.

Cruz Lucius took the lead late in the third period, assisted by Tyson Jugnauth and Jack Gorniak.
