The hosting Black Knights took the lead late into the first period, with a goal from Brett Abdelnour. Max Itagaki assisted.

The Lions tied the game 1-1 with a minute left in the first when Caleb Price scored, assisted by Kyle Jeffers and Drew Kuzma.

Hunter Johannes took the lead in the third period, assisted by Cade DeStefani and Aiden Yakimchuk.
