Maple Grove dig deep in the third to win against Centennial/Spring Lake Park

The Centennial/Spring Lake Park and the visiting Maple Grove were tied going into the third, but Maple Grove pulled away for a 2-0 victory in game action.

The Maple Grove players first took the lead in the third period, with a goal from Stella Retrum, assisted by Kelsey Olson.

Stella Retrum increased the lead to 2-0 seven minutes later.

The Centennial/Spring Lake Park players host Rosemount on Tuesday at 7 p.m. CST at Centennial Sports Arena. The Maple Grove players will face Wayzata on Saturday at 3 p.m. CST at Maple Grove Community Center.
