KEARNEY, Neb. — The Fargo Force tallied a 5-2 victory over Tri-City on Friday night in United States Hockey League action at Viaero Center.
The Force jumped out to a 3-1 start after the first period. Tristan Broz struck first for the Force just under four minutes into the game. After Kieran Cebrian tied it up for Tri-City, Ryan Siedem put Fargo back on top with a goal at the 17 minutes, 33 seconds mark. Jacob Braccini added an additional Force goal just under a minute later.
Braccini found the back of the net again midway through the second period to give the Force a 4-1 edge. Nick Strom then pushed it to 5-1 at the 15:49 mark of the second frame.
Force goalie Brennan Boynton tallied 28 saves.
Fargo moved to 3-0 this season and will play Tri-City (2-2) again at 7:05 p.m. Saturday night at Viaero Center.
