FARGO — Omaha tallied three goals in the first period to spark a 4-1 win over Fargo in United States Hockey League action Friday night at Scheels Arena.
Jack Jenson, Logan Will and Alexander Campbell all found the back of the net for the Lancers (21-12-7) in the first period. All three goals came in the final 10 minutes of the period.
Trailing 4-0, Fargo's Aaron Grounds put the Force on the board with just over five minutes left in regulation. Omaha goalie Kyle McClellan made 29 saves.
The Force (20-14-5) face Omaha again at 7:05 p.m. Saturday.
